Ping Pong will be showing at a double bill screening alongside Fabulous Fashionistas.
Suitably being played alongside one another, these films are both inspirational documentaries that challenge our perceptions of old age, celebrate our older years in life, and explore what it is to live life fully.
Ping Pong follows eight players with a combined age of over 700 competing in the World Veteran Table Tennis Championships in China’s Inner Mongolia.
Fabulous Fashionistas by award-winning director Sue Bourne explores the art of ageing in the company of six extraordinary women with an average age of eighty. What they all have in common is a determination to squeeze the best out of life. To keep going. To look fabulous. To have fun.
After the films there will be a Q&A with the Fabulous Fashionistas’ director Sue Bourne.
